WONDER POD Lead Designer: Sabrina Bae Design Team: Thomas Brockman, Briana Valentino, Hwan Kwan, Kristy Yang, Zizhou Tou, Nandini Gupta, Madilyn Bedsole The Wonder Pod is a fully immersive outdoor children's play pod with features that focus on learning through play, and career-oriented activities. The children's pod is a two-level structure that reaches 10' in height and is an octagonal shape that is 8' all around. The play structure is positioned for great visibility on site and is sitting on a bed of recycled rubber mulch. The upper level is full of textures and patterns that create play with shadow and light. The ground level is open concept with a variety of activities and plenty of space to run and play.
